- 1) print the vacation form request
- 2) fill it out and sign it
- 3) Go to the team boss and let him agree and sign
- 4) Go to the department boss and let him agree and sign
- 5) Go to HR and asgree (as long as so much vacation time is left!)
Take every employee 15-30 minutes of his work. Multiplied with number of employees and vacation requests you know what time is gone (to be read: lost!) during the year. Hell!
Boring. Automate it with simple web page form, sending to the right boss or bosses and afterwards to HR department. On the market a lot of workflow engines can help you doing the job.
